3. Adenosine
Again, Adenosine is a naturally-occurring compound all of us have in our bodies. In skincare, it's mostly derived from yeast.
Adenosine's main job is to stimulate collagen production. And more collagen = bouncier, plumper, smoother skin.

My IT Cosmetics Confidence In Your Beauty Sleep Review.
Honest, this IT Cosmetics night cream is unlike any other I've tried. Let me explain.
First, we need to talk about the texture because if you thought the whole pillow cream memory bounce jazz was just marketing speak, I can tell you, it's not.
The first time I stuck my (clean) finger into the pot, I couldn't get over how... weird this moisturiser feels. It's hard to describe, but the silky, bouncy texture reminds me of... glue?
I know this is sounding really strange, but when you scoop out the cream, it holds its own shape. Rather than your finger gliding through like it would with a lotion or whipped texture, you feel a bit of bouncy resistance, which is the magic of the MemoryBounce technology.
Then, there's the colour. And the scent.
IT Cosmetics Confidence In Your Beauty Sleep is purple. Well, lilac, more accurately. Does this do anything for your skin? Not a thing, but it's pretty.
The moisturiser also smells like lavender or lavender-scented sleep products, which I kind of love because I associate it with snoozing. It's not too overpowering, but if you're sensitive to fragrances, this product isn't for you.
I've been applying a generous dollop of the product as the last step in my evening skin care routine, right before bed, for about two weeks now.
The luscious texture thins out and sinks into the skin like a traditional night cream, but leaves you with a light, non-sticky layer that, to me, feels like a protective barrier between my skin cells and the outside world.
No stinging or irritation on my dry, moody skin, either.
As promised, the cream doesn't transfer onto my pillowcase. It also gets bonus points for not making my silk eye mask greasy.
Now, let's address the main claim. Did using IT Cosmetics Confidence In Your Beauty Sleep give me plumper, firmer skin in seven sleeps?
If you're hoping for results only cosmetic injectables can deliver, you will be disappointed by this moisturiser. Even though the brand is well-known for developing their formulas with plastic surgeons’ insights and dermatologists’ expertise, no such instantly plumping cream exists.
I've found the results are subtle, but noticeable. Like when you look at yourself in the mirror in the morning and think, thank you Jesus, today is going to be a good skin day.
Personally, I'm loving the sensory ritual using the product adds to my otherwise quite boring isolation evenings. But I will say, I do enjoy how my skin looks when I wake up after sleeping in this moisturiser - bright, bouncy and well-hydrated.
What more could your skin barrier want.
