It seems okay. I usually use a micellar water to clean the face before cleansing to remove any makeup. This seems a bit more intense. It does do the job of removing makeup but not keen on the effects around the eye area as I like to be more gentle there. Would probably stick to my micellar water.

I think this is a very good basic skincare. I have dry, sensitive skin and this does not irritate my skin. It removes makeup residue after cleansing and makes my skin even cleaner and healthier. Recommended.adore this

alcohol wash
The only reason this product feels like its working is because of the alcohol making your skin tingling. You might not notice any difference over time but it a waste of money considering there are so many others. The alcohol content just irritates and damages your skin. Find a better product.I really like it

I have been using this for over 20 years. It is a staple for getting all dead cells and impurities off after cleansing and before I slap on the nourishing stuff. I purchased this after recommendation from a Clinique sales person, and while it wasn't irritating for my sensitive skin, I saw no difference and doubted it's effectiveness. The ingredients also weren't to my liking after some research, and I didn't repurchase. There are other more effective essences/exfoliators out there which I have since switched to.
