So. I went off the pill, my hair started falling out in clumps, and I used this and my hair started to behave itself again. By that I mean that it stayed where it belonged, in my head. Whew.
Fast forward to 3 years later and I got supremely overconfident with my now-luscious locks, and bleached every one of the (long, lush) hairs in my head. My hair was so platinum it was essentially translucent. I loved myself to near-death, until my hair started to break away right at the crown. I love an intentional mullet, but this wasn't that. Enter Initialiste again, et voila, healthy hairs. Is this magic? I don't care. I'm into this sorcery.
There were definitely pros and cons to this shampoo (along with the matching masque).
I found that it really helped strengthen and repair my hair! However, keep in mind that this is not a hydrating or nourishing range. It's really important to use something to help with that post washing your hair, before drying. Before I blow dried my hair I would use my Olaplex No6 (bond smoother) to help with instant hydration and softness and it worked a treat!! I got best of both worlds.
