What's Inside a Lancome Makeup Artist's Bag?

Ever wanted to know what a make-up artist keeps in her personal cosmetics bag?

Ever wanted to know what a make-up artist keeps in her personal cosmetics bag? With literally thousands of products at her disposal, here’s what National Makeup Director for Lancôme Australia, Lara Srokowski chooses to use…

Lancôme Advanced Génifique

Lancôme Advanced Génifique

This is my quick fix product. It has an amazing texture that instantly softens and brightens the complexion. It gives a great base for makeup and I also love mixing a small amount into foundation to keep it looking natural and luminous on the skin.

Lancôme Artliner

You can’ t go wrong with a little bit of liner. The winged eye would have to be my signature look that I wear every day without a fail. Adding intensity to the top lash line will give you the appearance of longer thicker lashes and help lift the eyes.

Lancôme Star Bronzer

“ I love contouring the face with a bronzer because I believe contouring is done best when it looks natural and goes unnoticed. Contouring is a makeup artist technique using shade to enhance and change your bone structure, define, or correct features.

Lancôme Grandiose Mascara

Lancôme Grandiose Mascara

Grandiose Mascara is the one product I couldn’t live without and I think I speak for most women when I say that. One thing I have always done with mascara wands is put a bend in the wand so I can easily access all the lashes to achieve a symmetrical result. When Lancome launched Grandiose it was my mascara revolution. The first mascara with a swan neck to simplify the art of application and create show stopping lashes.

Lancôme Le Crayon Sourcils

“ Brows help to frame your face and can change the whole appearance of your look. My tip with brows is to choose a taupe shade which will keep the brow looking natural but give fullness by creating a shadow behind the hair.

Lancôme Effacernes Longue Tenue Concealer

This long-wearing concealer is a must have for the cosmetic bag because not only does it give great coverage it also work as an eye makeup primer.  My favourite shade to use in Effacernes is 04 because of its peachy undertone which helps to illuminate and cover any dark circles.

Lancôme La Base Primer

Lancôme La Base Pro Base Pro-Perfecting Make-up Primer

Beautiful makeup starts with beautiful skin. To create the perfect base for foundation I always recommend starting with a primer. La Base Pro is my favourite because of its velvety smooth texture which smooth⠙s out any imperfections for a flawless long wearing result.

Lancôme Dual Finish Powder

This powder is amazing it gives the most flawless finish but what I love most about this product is that you can use it wet or dry. For a natural result you can use the puff or a big brush and for a full coverage you can use it wet but dampening the sponge.

Lancôme Hypnose Palettes

“ Both of these are very wearable because of their colour combinations. I love the fact you have 5 neutral shades to play with in each palette so you have the opportunity to create several different looks. The darkest shade can be used as an eye liner and by wetting your brush you can intensify the shadow and turn it into a liquid formula.

Lancôme Rouge Lipstick

Lancôme L’Absolue Rouge Lipstick

Number 132 (Caprice) is my go to red lip stick. It is a very wearable red on many different skin tones and keeps the lip moisturised all day long because of its Proxy-lane infused formula.
