I'd been looking for a new eye brush for a while and when I saw the DB melodrama set, the price immediately caught my eye. The brushes are soft, don't scratch the skin, and do an excellent job of applying the product. Great price too!
I'd bought real techniques brushes years ago and though the brushes themselves were still fine after a lot of use, the rubber handles were deteriorating so much I had to throw them away. I am so glad they've upgraded the brushes to have a plastic handle now. Perfect travel or starter kit of brushes, don't pay too much attention to what they say they are to be used for - I use the eyeshadow brush for concealer, setting brush for highlighter or blush, blush brush for bronzer or all over powder. Am yet to try the sponge. I prefer natural hair brushes for eyeshadow and blush.
The brush is nice its self let alone, how easy it is to apply and blend concealer on the face. A lot better than normal brushes because the brush head is smaller making it easier to get into spaces. I highly recommend the brush and I use it all the time!
I’ve been using this for big areas such as my cheeks, forehead and neck and it really blends out the foundation nicely and quickly on these areas. However it’s not as useful in blending on small areas such as underneath my eyes and my nose
Love this brush set ! Although I don't get much use out of the smaller brush. The large brush is perfect for dusting bronzer all over my face and wiping off my translucent powder. The medium sized brush it perfect for wiping off banana powder when setting your under eye - its more precise and does a great job !
I love this sponge so much, I've tried a few and prefer it over the beauty blender ! the flat edge in my opinion is perfect for under eye and setting your under eye with powder. I find this sponge is a good and large size which applies your makeup much faster then the smaller sponges ! It also doesn't soak up too much product
