Everyday Get Up and Go Routine Using Benefit Makeup

My name is Samantha and I’m here with a simple makeup look and an easy eyebrow tutorial that will make you feel like a Benefit makeup artist.

To me, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it is different for everyone, everyday and every occasion. Beauty to me is an expression of who I am today.

I want to use my 10 years of experience in the beauty industry to show you just how straightforward and fun Benefit makeup application can be.

This is one of my favourite Benefit makeup looks for when I’m on-the-go.

Step 1: Prime and hydrate

The Benefit The POREfessional Hydrate Primer is the perfect primer to minimise the appearance of pores.

Why I love it: It creates a smooth texture while hydrating my skin with Hyaluronic acid and Shea Butter. The quick drying formula makes it the easiest first step to my routine.

Step 2: Flawless foundation

The Benefit Hello Happy Flawless Brightening Foundation is a combination of everything I look for in my complexion products.

Why I love it: It contains SPF 25, Hyaluronic acid to hydrate, Flower acids for brightening and photochromic pigments to ensure that I look fab in every light.

It gives me the perfect medium coverage base, with a natural finish and an easy to apply liquid formula straight from its pump bottle.

Step 3: All occasion concealer

The Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer is my go to concealer for all occasions.

Why I love it: It’s full coverage, blendable formula makes it great for all areas of the face and eyes without the risk of caking, thanks to the algae extract and specially coated pigments.

It wears for up to 24 waterproof hours and has a natural finish that blends perfectly into my foundation.

Step 4: Colour and shape

Cheek colour and contouring is an essential part of my routine to ensure I am putting colour and shape back into my face.

Why I love it: Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder is great as it comes in 4 different tones and shades and I can always find my perfect shade of bronzer whether I have a tan or not.

I always use Hoola bronzer in a figure 3 around the edges of my face before adding blush and highlight.

Step 5: Jet black mascara

I don't know where I was before the Benefit BADGal Bang Volumising Mascara existed.

Why I love it: It’s 36 hour wear, weightless formula volumizes my lashes without clumps, flakes or smudges.

The Slimpact wand has 300 flexible bristles to ensure every lash is coated with its jet black formula from root to tip, corner to corner, top and bottom.

Step 6: Longwear liner

Winged liner used to be a step of my makeup routine that took me the longest and was the scariest. That was until I started using the Benefit Roller Liner.

Why I love it: The 24 hour wear, waterproof formula lasts all day without fading, flaking or bleeding and it is so quick and easy to apply. The applicator helps to create a precise line that quickly dries to a true matte finish.

Step 7: How to do eyebrows easy

My brows love a quick and easy style with no fuss.

Why I love it: The Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil wide angled tip is a quick and easy way to create width and shape to my brow, all while keeping a natural look. It comes in 12 shades and is 12 hour waterproof wear, so I never have to worry about my Benefit brow makeup.

Pair this with the Benefit Gimme Brow + Fibre Gel to finish off the look of the hairs and hide any little greys. This microfibre gel gets its best results when combed backwards through the brow before setting the hairs back in place for the ultimate colour and volume.

Step 8: A bit of lippy

No look is complete without a bit of lippy and the Benefit California Kissin' ColorBalm are the perfect addition to any makeup look and a great way to add more colour.

Why I love it: These highly pigmented lip balms are formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate, Wild Mango Butter to moisturise, Loofah Seed oil to minimise water loss and scented with a light refreshing passion fruit scent.

These come in 12 shades, my current favourite being Cherry for a bright pop of colour to kick off springtime.
