Lovely, but not a must.

I love using this toner - it feels super moisturising and is a great base of serums etc. However, I have run out of this product and haven't got around to repur...
  1. A Must Have for Dehydrated Skin

    Stef

I have used quite a few "hydrating mists" before, and they never really seemed to do much for my skin. I gave this NIOD mist a try on a whim as it also claimed to give antioxidant protection and help with redness. This has become a product that I continue to repurchase as I definitely notice a difference in skin hydration and a slight reduction in redness. I spray it on before serums morning and n...

  2. Light and fresh

    Kristy

I use this because I live in a really hot, dry climate. I must several times a day and since I’ve been using it, I’ve noticed my skin has improved (skin feels firmer and less creepy). It’s definitely buffering the harsh climate so I will continue to use it.
  3. Great over makeup

    Dawn

So hydrating, with real visible benefits. My skin is bouncier and I have to do less touch ups throughout the day. Makes my makeup sit really well and my oily but dehydrated skin drinks this up. LOVE.
  4. Hydrating & Calming

    Caitlin

This mist is extremely hydrating and helps to calm my sensitive skin. The spray of the mist is nice and fine and makes it enjoyable to use.
  5. Excellent mist

    Hannah

This is a really nice mist that I love using everyday after I cleanse my face. It leaves the skin feeling cool and hydrated and I feel like it helps my skin to absorb the serums that I apply after much better. I do have quite sensitive skin and suffer from rosacea. This serum is supposed to help with redness and inflammation so I'm excited to see if it helps with these concerns after using it for ...

  6. Soothing

    Romie

This is a gentle and soothing toner which calms redness on my easily irritated and breakout prone face. Its expensive but the bottle is big, I'd say it would last 6minthd of daily use minimum.
  7. Very soothing mist

    Brooke

Lovely mist, apparently it's for long-term benefits not short-term but certainly is hydrating and soothing. Reduces redness and love the BIG BOY size.
  8. SODs law it wouldn’t work - but it did

    Annette

I bought both the NIOD Modulating Glucosides and SDSM2 following a Deciem recommendation for Rosacea prone skin. I reviewed the MG after it helped deal with a redness flare up, so much so there was no evidence of the flare up the next day. (I have never had that happen with a product before.) I have used this mist almost everyday since purchasing which was just after my last laser session (for ro...

  9. It's a good mist!

This works as a good mist. It is very hydrating. And it feels a bit more nourishing than a regular hydrating toner.

It didn't irritate my skin but it did sting a bit sometimes. The thing is, the reason I got this was because I wanted to up my skin's hydration as I wanted increase my retinol use to every night. Unfortunately, due to the increase in retinol use, my skin is slightly more...

  10. Best mist I've tried thus far

Ingredients list is pretty impressive. I use it as my antioxidant step under my morning hydrating serum. Is a little on the expensive side but the bottle is huge. Would recommend
  11. Not the best for dry skin.

    Sarah

This was my first ever Niod purchase. I wanted to add a mist to my routine that actually had a purpose, rather than just wetting my face. After half a bottle I didn’t notice any positive changes in my skin. It also sometimes stung when I applied it, probably due to a compromised barrier, which leads me to believe it might not be the best for dry or dehydrated skins. For this reason I stopped usin...

  12. Love!

    mrsc

I have been using this after cleansing, morning and night. It really helps with hydration and I love knowing that it's protecting it too. What I love the most, is how it helps me distribute my NIOD copper peptide. I spray this first, put a few drops on my face and gently pat in.
  13. I didn't love it :( !!

    Emma Loves Skincare

After reading so many reviews I really thought I would really love this but sadly I didn't. It was nice, felt luxurious. But I really didn't see that much of a difference after using it every day for 2 months. I liked the scent and would try it again but I feel it's a bit too expensive for my budget.

For reference I am 31 years old and my skin is oily/combination.
  14. Obsessed with this

    Clare

I'm on my third or fourth bottle of this and have 2 back ups! In the morning, I spray it on immediately after a shower, follow with a (non-Deciem) essence, then serum, eye cream, moisturiser and sunscreen. I also use it in the evening after my double cleanse.

It's made a massive difference to my skin, which is a little bit sensitive and prone to redness. Over time it's reduced my skin...

Love this stuff, I see a noticeable difference in my skin - super hydrated, plump and glowing. Haven't had any issues with the nozzle as a couple people mentioned below and I'm onto my fourth bottle. I've used so many facial mists from AHA to Josh Rosebrook and this is definitely my holy grail. Can't be without it. I used to have oily/dehydrated skin, I now have very well balanced skin - in part t...

  16. Lovely, but not a must.

    Hannah

I love using this toner - it feels super moisturising and is a great base of serums etc. However, I have run out of this product and haven't got around to repurchasing it, and in the three months I haven't used it I have noticed no difference in my skin as a result of discontinuing use. It does feel great and is a lovely addition to a skincare routine, but not an essential in my opinion.
  17. I’m on the fence

    Cheryl

I don’t have anything negative to say about this but I’m not sure I’d rave about it either. I prefer using it in the afternoon or evening as a spritz to freshen up & I definitely notice a dewiness to my skin when I use it this way which is great. As a first step after cleansing I’m not so sure....once my other serums & moisturiser are layered over it I really couldn’t say if it’s doing anything to...

  18. Not Impressed

    MPascoe

This is the only NIOD product I have used as I mainly use Skinstitut and Ordinary products. I can’t say that I saw any difference in my skin after using the whole bottle. The nozzle also went weird about half way through the bottle and didn’t evenly spray onto my face which was frustrating at this price point.
  19. part of my routine

    Jess

On to my second bottle after about 9 months of 2x daily (sometimes 3x) use. I spray this on right after show or washing my face as the first step of my skin care/makeup routine. This (and my ordinary marine hyaluronics) keeps my face hydrated. I used to have areas on my face which feels tight or are flaky. not any more! I also love the routine of spraying this on my face twice a day. I have no is...

  20. Looks so nice on the skin

    Jol

Extra boost of hydration. This makes my skin look so healthy and pretty.
  21. Not exactly sure this is doing anything...

    Sarah

....but it's certainly not doing any harm. I've been applying this in my AM routine prior to VitC, and sometimes PM on non-Retinol days. Find it easiest to spray onto my hands and sweep it over my face as this seems to use a bit less. It's a huge bottle.
  22. Million times better than a toner

    Rebecca

This mist feels amazing and hydrating on my skin and bonus that it's actually helping my skin long term. Huge amount of product too.
  23. Calming and hydrating

    Emily

I love this mist. I use it after cleansing before applying serums - it gives a nice boost of hydration and is refreshing and calming.
  24. Don't get it

    Shelia

This is great on paper but for me it just doesn't translate in application. Whilst I don't outright dislike it, I feel very meh about it. For starters, the nozzle gives a reasonable fine mist at first but then it will get stuck then proceed to leak inside the cap. The bottle is also too big for me to hold and spray comfortably with one hand, especially when the nozzle acts up. When I use this to d...

    Yoshie

I use it every morning and evening just light spray onto my face
My complexion stays hydrated and glowing
Stopped using cream moisturiser cause I don’t need it since I’ve started using this
    I would recommend it
The only downside is the smell, but only for the first few minutes, then it disappears
  26. Oh wow!

    Yvonne

Love, love, love this SOD mist! This is my first foray into NIOD, after several years of using (and loving) The Ordinary and I’m so glad I did. NIOD is hideously expensive if you’re on a budget like me, but if you can splurge on just one product from the line, I recommend this one.
It’s not particularly moisturising but feels beautiful on the skin and seems to help other products absorb wel...

I consider myself a Scientist (of sorts) after navigating The Ordinary for the last year. I'm practically Batman on a budget.

Which is why I had chest pain when I bought this. I havent ventured into NIOD turf before as it is A) Expensive and B) Requires another degree.

    Kirsty

As someone with oily/combination skin who can't tolerate a lot of cream moisturisers, I've become somewhat addicted to mists to add moisture and refresh my skin. This one by NIOD is lovely and comes in a massive bottle which lasts for ages. I really appreciate that they have kept the ingredients light and haven't been tempted to chuck in heavy perfumes or the essential oils that I hate, hate, hate...

This feels great on my skin and takes away any patches of redness / dryness / irritation. I find it really calming. I only really noticed how good this product was when my first bottle ran out and I stopped using it for a few weeks. This is a permanent step in my routine now: morning and night (after I cleanse, before serum). It lasts ages so is worth the price for me for the antioxidant / hydrati...
