Penhaligon’s Halfeti fragrance centres the black rose, reimagining the richness and undiscoverable nature of Halfeti itself with exotic florals.

Fresh yet spiced, Halfeti also features dazzling sandalwood and cypress. Halfeti, just like its namesake, is at once modern and deeply traditional - light and airy, yet inspired by spices and precious woods that have been traded for centuries. With a citrus opening of grapefruit and bergamot, barely-there notes of saffron and cardamom elevate rather than oppress. The warmth and familiarity of nutmeg brings together the star middle notes of jasmine and black rose. At the dry down, discover the exotic imported wares that would have delighted Londoners of the Victorian era. Oud, vanilla and sandalwood are warm and inviting.

Who are Penhaligon’s?

William Penhaligon set out from his rural hometown to start a grooming business in London. Originally working as a barber in the hammam, the Turkish baths on Jermyn Street, he was inspired by the billowing fragrances of the baths to create his first fragrance, Hammam Bouquet. He opened a store in the bath selling fragrances and grooming goods, and in no time at all had attracted the attention of kings and queens the world over. Inspired by fine ingredients sourced from all around the world, Penhaligon’s was born, with a fragrance lineage like no other. To this day, you can see the original iconic Penhaligon’s bottle on the entire range, even on the Penhaligon’s miniatures.
