How do I choose which strength of PMD Replacement Discs to go for?
White/Ultra Sensitive: great for those with sensitive skin, or those trying out microdermabrasion, or the PMD Personal Microderm for the first time.
Blue/Sensitive: the next step up, and suitable for almost all skin types except very sensitive.
Green/Medium: a great option for those looking for something a little more intense - although you will need to progress up to this size by using the white and blue disc for at least one week each. Suitable for use on the face or body.
Red/Very Coarse: suitable only for those with very resilient or resistant skin. This disc should not be used first under any circumstances, as even those with the most resilient skin need to build a tolerance. Also great for use on the body.
What are the different sizes for?
The large body discs easily cover a greater surface area to more quickly treat the body. Smooth, soften and brighten your skin from head to toe while the smaller size fits into every nook and cranny of your facial contours.
How do I use PMD Beauty Replacement Discs and how often should I be replacing the discs?
The Personal Microderm should only be used once every 7 days. Each disc will last 3-4 uses. Most treatments will last three to five minutes. The size of the area being treated and the length of each treatment will ultimately determine how long a disc can be used. When inserting a new disc in your Personal Microderm, follow these steps:
1. Push the disc down firmly on the device post.
2. Twist on cap making sure to tighten the cap firmly against the black o-ring on the tool.
3. Check to make sure the disc is sitting slightly below the plastic cap.
