When should I use Ultra Violette Extreme Screen Body Sunscreen SPF50+?

What is the texture and smell of this sunscreen?

It’s a light to medium lotion, so won’t feel greasy or heavy on the skin and it smells like the faintest blush of coconut, aka the scent of summer!

What should I get excited about?

Apart from a fantastic texture, this bad boy is also chock full of Vitamin E and Aloe Vera to hydrate, cool and soothe your skin. It also has a hint of radiance throughout it, so your skin will look glowy and wonderful year-round.

Can I use this on my hands?

Please do! This makes an excellent hand cream with SPF, for use while driving, out and about or just at your desk.

Is this oxybenzone free?

Yes sirree, this baby is reef safe and an oxybenzone free sunscreen. While we’re at it, this is also a paraben free sunscreen, a cruelty free sunscreen and grease-free sunscreen. All in the same tube. Bonus!

How much sunscreen should I apply?

More is more. You’ll want to aim for 30ml (a shot glass full) for a full body application, according to the Australian Cancer Council. This is not the time to scrimp!

If you're not afraid of commitment or you love a bargain, this is also available in a 150mL size. 

As with all SPF products, you should ensure you read the label, and follow directions for use included on this label, before use.  

The Important Bits you need to know about this oh-so-fab SPF product:

• For children under six months of age, consult with your family physician before use.

• Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad-Spectrum

• To further mitigate the risks of sun exposure, wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

• Apply 20 minutes before sun exposure. Sunscreen is only one part of sun protection so wear protective clothing and seek shade. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours and after swimming, towelling and perspiring in accordance with directions.

Apply like you would a lotion, or anywhere skin is exposed to sun, and aim for 30mL for your body. More is more!
