What started out as an idea in a salon, quickly became the reality and started a revolution! Shaun Pulfrey, the brains behind the Tangle Teezer has over 30 years of experience as a top stylist and colourist in salons throughout the United Kingdom. In 2003, he had an idea for a brush that would quickly detangle hair without tugging, pulling or damaging hair. After much research, design, development and even an appearance AND a dismissal on the Dragon’s Den, In 2007, the Tangle Teezer Brush was born!

Shaun didn’t just stop at one idea though, and the Tangle Teezer revolution continues with a range of award winning products that not only include hair detangling brushes, but hair styling tools, too. All made with the brand’s patented Teeth Technology that ensures detangled hair without any of the damage!

How does Tangle Teezer work?

The Tangle Teezer uses a patented technology that focuses on the unique teeth of the brush. There are two different lengths of teeth that work to untangle the hair gently, work out kinks and knots, and leave your hair sans frizz, shiny, and ready for styling as you see fit!

Are Tangle Teezers good for hair?

Absolutely! The patented Teeth Technology uses a two-tier system that flexes through tangles instead of locking into them and pulling them out. This helps to reduce damage, breakage and snagging, leading to healthy, detangled hair.

Which Tangle Teezer should I buy?

This is dependent on your hair type, style and what you’re looking to achieve. There is a Tangle Teezer hairbrush for all hair types and textures, including regular, fine and fragile and thick and curly

Can you use a Tangle Teezer on wet hair?

You absolutely can. The Tangle Teezer can work its magic on both dry and wet hair, allowing you to gently work out any tangles or knots in your hair that if removed with force, can lead to breakage and damage. The Tangle Teezer benefits anyone looking for the ultimate styling accessory to keep their luscious locks healthy and tangle-free.

How to clean your Tangle Teezer?

Your Tangle Teezer deserves some TLC in return, so they've made it super easy to clean your hairbrush. Start by removing any hair from the brush, run the brush under warm water and add some shampoo to gently clean the bristles. You can also use a toothbrush and brush gently over the bristles to get in all the nooks and crannies. Leave the brush to dry in a warm space, with the brush facing up.
