When toner pads first started making waves in the Korean skincare world, I’ll admit I thought they were the biggest marketing gimmick. Paying premium prices for pre-soaked cotton rounds? Ummm, a tad extra, right?
Well, consider me corrected…
On a trip to Seoul a few years ago, I watched every skincare girlie I passed load their baskets with stacks of different toner pads. Obviously, FOMO kicked in, and I caved.
And wow, was I left impressed.
If there’s one thing K-beauty consistently gets right, it’s innovative formulas that actually deliver (with 10/10 marketing to match). What I quickly learned is that not all toner pads are created equal. Some gently exfoliate, some flood your skin with hydration, others calm breakouts or target pigmentation. Whatever the concern, the right one can genuinely make your skin look infinitely better.
So, after years of testing the viral hits and lesser-known gems, these are the toner pads that have earned a permanent spot in my (very carefully curated) rotation.

Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0.

Best for: Oily, congested skin.
You’ve probably seen skin-fluencers raving about this one, and I can confirm, it earns every bit of the hype. If your skin leans oily, congested or blackhead-prone, this is the toner pad that makes a visible difference.
Each pad is dual-sided: one textured, one smooth. The textured side delivers that deeply satisfying (but not scratchy or harsh) physical exfoliation, helping to lift dead skin and clear buildup. Meanwhile, the formula it’s soaked in contains gentle exfoliating acids that work to unclog pores and refine uneven texture.
Then, flip the pad over to the smooth side, and it tones, lightly hydrates and leaves your skin feeling polished.
I especially love using this as a pre-makeup prep step. It smooths everything out so foundation sits better and pores look blurred. For real!

INNISFREE Green Tea Enzyme Vitamin Brightening Toner Pad.

Best for: Dullness, uneven tone.
I’ll be honest, I was sceptical about this one. My track record with vitamin C products hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing (RIP to my hyper-sensitive skin). But after finishing two full tubs of these pads without a single flare-up, I’m officially converted.
Each pad is infused with antioxidant-rich green tea alongside brightening enzymes and vitamin extracts that gently lift away dead skin while helping to even out tone. What you get is a complexion that looks clearer, fresher and noticeably more radiant. I definitely think they’ve helped fade my post-acne marks faster than usual.
What really sets these apart is the balance. You get mild exfoliation and glow-boosting benefits, but the formula still feels calming and lightly hydrating rather than stripping.
All in all, if you’re vitamin C–curious but wary of irritation, I say give these toner pads a hot go.

Torriden Dive-In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Multi Pad.

Best for: Dry, sensitive skin.
ICYMI, Torriden’s Dive-In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum has been a top contender since its release a few years ago. To put it into perspective, this hot product holds an average rating of around 4.8/5 from more than 20,000 reviews on Korean retailer Olive Young, and it consistently ranks highly on elite grading platforms like Hwahae, which is no small feat considering just how competitive the K-beauty industry is.
And yes, this serum comes in a toner pad version. They’re essentially drenched in that same best-selling low molecular weight hyaluronic acid formula, meaning the hydration actually penetrates the skin rather than just sitting on the surface.
What I especially love is how luxuriously soft the pads feel, and crucially, they don’t dry out within seconds (a massive ick I have with many toner pads). With every swipe, your skin genuinely drinks in the moisture, leaving it plump and comfortable without any sticky or heavy residue.
I’d recommend leaving a few pads on as a mini mask for at least five minutes before following up with the rest of your skincare routine. Afterwards, you’ll notice dry patches feel softer, dehydration lines look smoother, and your complexion appears visibly glowier.

Mediheal Madecassoside Blemish Pad.

Best for: Acne-prone and inflamed skin.
My random pimples hate to see this toner pad coming.
Infused with madecassoside (a calming compound derived from centella asiatica), these pads are designed to soothe inflammation while helping to visibly reduce blemishes. They don’t sting, tingle or over-dry the skin, but instead, they focus on calming first and clearing second, which is exactly what reactive, acne-prone skin needs.
The pads are generously soaked and ultra-soft, making them perfect for both a quick swipe after cleansing or as a targeted mini mask over irritated areas. With consistent use, I’ve found they help dial down redness, support faster recovery post-breakout and keep my skin feeling balanced rather than traumatised.
I’ve recommended this product to countless friends, and now they all keep a tub on standby for whenever a pesky pimple starts brewing.

BIODANCE Cera-Nol Gel Toner Pads 60.

Best for: Sensitive, compromised or dehydrated skin.
If you’ve seen or used the viral Korean gel masks all over TikTok, these toner pads are essentially the everyday, swipe-and-go version of that same beloved BIODANCE formula.
The BIODANCE Cera-Nol pads are at the top of my repeat-purchases thanks to their unique gel-like texture that immediately makes them more premium. Unlike traditional thin, fibrous cotton pads, these feel cushiony and almost jelly-like to the touch.
Because of this gel structure, they hold onto the essence far better than most toner pads and cling to your skin beautifully, making them perfect to use as a mini sheet mask.
Formulated with ceramide-focused ingredients, they’re especially good when your skin feels sensitised, over-exfoliated or fragile. I like to think of them as a barrier-repair step rather than an active treatment.
And since they come from the same family as BIODANCE’s viral Hydro Cera-Nol mask, you’re getting that same signature soothing, deeply hydrating effect, just in a quicker, mess-free format that’s perfect for daily use or anytime your skin needs an instant boost.
