As someone with genetic dark circles and accepting that no eye cream will make them completely disappear, I take eye creams with a grain of salt.
Having said that though, I'm still 100% team eye cream, why? Because I don't use them to brighten, I use them to give the illusion of a brighter, illuminated under-eye to help give that smoother texture and help my concealer layer on nicely too.
So to hear about this latest innovation from brand was quite exciting.
The creamy texture feels nourishing on dry, delicate skin and although is is tinted, it didn't give me too much of a tint, more like a softly hydrated look.
I've only used it for a couple of weeks, but between the cooling applicator and the promise of improving under-eye volume over time with consistent use, I can't wait to use the whole tube up.

I’ve been using this pillowy cream for about three weeks now and have to say my face and skin, especially around the high tops of my cheeks does look and feel bouncier.
My complexion has been looking a little weary and tired, and although I’ve still been feeling that way which always presents in my skin, I feel like this cream has helped mask it. Not surprising with those peptide-rich, skin-loving ingredients working behind the scenes.
There’s also no strong scent, and its silky, lightweight texture glides over the skin really nicely.

My mini Peter Thomas Roth Peptide Skinjection™ Expression Line Hydra-Gel Patches review:
While Beauty IQ writer and cosmetic doctor Dr Yumiko influenced me to try the 24K gold eye patches, the appeal of these hydrogel patches was also high.
I loved the thoughtful inclusion of the applicator, which makes it easy to separate and glide each patch out.
I applied them to just one side of my face to really see if I could spot a difference after leaving them on for around 20 minutes. I tried them on a warm day, and the cooling sensation on the skin felt especially lovely.
When I peeled it off, though subtle (I wouldn’t expect anything less from a 20 min application), my eye contour and cheek area did appear slightly more plump and dewy than the side I didn't have the gel patches on. So what does that tell me? Next time I am going out/doing my makeup, I’ll be reaching for these patches for an instant lift and hydration under the eyes.
I don't have any deep set crow's feet just yet (thank you, sunscreen and retinol), but my neck is where I've started seeing the most wrinkling and lines, so I’m going to start popping them on my décolletage area regularly too.
