Store Services Terms and Conditions
1. Application of These Terms
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all consultations, skin analysis services and facial treatments provided in-store by Adore Beauty.
1.2 By booking, attending or receiving a consultation or treatment in-store, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, together with Adore Beauty’s Privacy Policy and any applicable Client Consent Form.
2. Nature of Services
2.1 Adore Beauty provides a range of cosmetic skincare consultations and treatments within selected retail store locations. These services may include skin consultations, OBSERV 520x skin analysis consultations, facial treatments, LED light therapy treatments, brand-specific facial treatments and general skincare advice or product demonstrations.
2.2 All services provided by Adore Beauty are cosmetic and educational in nature and are intended to assist customers in understanding their skin and exploring suitable skincare products and routines.
2.3 Services provided by Adore Beauty do not constitute medical advice, dermatological treatment or medical diagnosis. Customers seeking advice regarding medical skin conditions should consult a qualified medical practitioner.
3. Skin Consultations
3.1 Adore Beauty may offer complimentary skin consultations designed to assist customers in understanding their skin concerns, skincare goals and current skincare routine.
3.2 During a consultation, an Adore staff member may discuss visible skin characteristics, review your current skincare routine, provide general cosmetic skincare guidance and recommend or demonstrate skincare products that may assist in addressing your concerns.
3.3 Any recommendations provided during a consultation are based on general cosmetic skincare guidance only. Adore Beauty does not guarantee that any particular product or skincare routine will produce specific results.
4. OBSERV 520x Skin Analysis
4.1 Where booked, Adore Beauty may use the OBSERV 520x skin analysis system as part of a consultation.
4.2 The OBSERV system uses specialised lighting and imaging technology designed to enhance the visual assessment of certain skin characteristics across different layers of the skin.
4.3 Observation modes may highlight features such as skin texture, pigmentation variations, redness or vascular appearance, hydration levels and visible signs of ageing.
4.4 The OBSERV analysis is used for cosmetic skin assessment purposes only and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
5. Facial Treatments
5.1 Adore Beauty offers a range of in-store facial treatments which may include Express Facials, Relaxing Facials, Murad Signature Treatments and Indulgence Facials.
5.2 Certain treatments may include additional elements such as LED light therapy or other cosmetic skincare steps.
5.3 Treatments are customised by an Adore staff member based on visible skin characteristics and the customer’s stated preferences.
5.4 Treatment descriptions, expected benefits and product references are provided for general informational purposes only. Individual outcomes may vary and Adore Beauty does not guarantee specific treatment results.
6. Treatment Suitability
6.1 Adore Beauty reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a consultation or treatment where the service is considered unsuitable for the customer’s skin condition, where relevant medical or skin information has not been disclosed, or where there are hygiene, behavioural or safety concerns.
6.2 A consultation may result in an alternative treatment recommendation or in no treatment being provided.
7. Redeemable Treatment Promotions
7.1 Certain treatments may be promoted as redeemable on product purchases made on the day of the appointment.
7.2 For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, redeemable means that the value of the treatment fee may be applied as a credit toward eligible product purchases made in-store on the same day as the treatment.
7.3 Redemption applies only to product purchases made in-store on the day of the appointment and cannot be applied to future purchases or separate transactions.
7.4 Redemption cannot be exchanged for cash, store credit or gift cards and cannot be transferred to another person.
7.5 Redemption may not be used in conjunction with certain promotional offers or discounts where specified by Adore Beauty.
7.6 If the value of the product purchase exceeds the redemption amount, the customer must pay the difference. If the purchase value is less than the redemption amount, the remaining balance will be forfeited.
8. Pricing and Promotions
8.1 Treatment pricing and promotional offers may change from time to time.
8.2 Adore Beauty reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotions, offers or treatment packages at any time.
8.3 Promotional offers are subject to availability and may not be combined with other discounts unless expressly stated.
9. Appointment Bookings
9.1 Appointments may be booked online, in-store or through approved booking platforms.
9.2 Customers are encouraged to arrive on time for their appointment.
9.3 If a customer arrives late, the appointment duration may be shortened or the appointment may be rescheduled to avoid disruption to other bookings.
10. Cancellations and No-Shows
10.1 Adore Beauty may require advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
10.2 Where a treatment fee or booking fee has been paid in advance, failure to attend the appointment or provide reasonable notice of cancellation may result in the fee being forfeited.
10.3 Adore Beauty reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to operational requirements, staff availability or safety considerations.
11. Age Requirements
11.1 The OBSERV 520x Skin Analysis service is available only to customers who are 18 years of age or older.
11.2 For other in-store services offered by Adore Beauty, customers must be at least 16 years of age.
11.3 Customers aged 16 or 17 years must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian for both the provision of services and the collection and use of personal information.
11.4 Adore Beauty may request proof of age.
12. Personal Information and Privacy
12.1 Adore Beauty may collect personal information and health information that is reasonably necessary to provide consultations and treatments safely and appropriately.
12.2 Information collected may include personal identification details, skin concerns, treatment history, relevant health information and consultation records.
12.3 Personal information will be handled in accordance with Adore Beauty’s Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
13. Skin Imaging and Photography
13.1 Where imaging technology such as the OBSERV system is used, images of the skin may be captured as part of the consultation process.
13.2 These images may be used for cosmetic skin assessment, comparison of skin condition over time and maintaining consultation records.
13.3 Images will not be used for marketing or promotional purposes without separate consent.
14. Allergies and Skin Reactions
14.1 Customers should inform Adore staff of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions or medications that may affect treatment suitability.
14.2 Adore Beauty is not responsible for adverse skin reactions where relevant information has not been disclosed.
14.3 Customers are encouraged to patch test new skincare products before full application.
15. Product Recommendations
15.1 Product recommendations provided during consultations or treatments are based on general cosmetic skincare guidance only.
15.2 Adore Beauty does not guarantee that recommended products will produce specific results for individual customers.
15.3 Customers are responsible for reviewing product ingredients and determining suitability for their own skin.
16. Limitation of Liability
16.1 To the extent permitted by law, Adore Beauty is not liable for any loss, damage or adverse skin reaction arising from a customer’s failure to disclose relevant medical or skin information, failure to follow aftercare instructions or individual skin sensitivities.
16.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
17. Changes to These Terms
17.1 Adore Beauty may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
17.2 The Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of booking or receiving a service will apply.
