Frizz is that messy tangle that stands apart from the rest of your hair. Technically, what we are seeing here is a raised cuticle layer, that is causing the hair to look dry and frizzy instead of smooth.
Frizz can be caused by a number of things: damage, dehydration, genetics and hair type. Generally, those with curly hair experience frizz more, but that doesn’t mean frizz can’t be cured with the right hydrating hair products.
So, why does humidity create and exacerbate frizz? Essentially, what is happening is that your porous hair has less moisture in it than there is in the air, and this causes the moisture in the air to mess with the hydrogen bonds in your hair.
It sounds complicated, but luckily Color WOW has an amazing range of hair care products that coat and seal in moisture, working effectively to humidity-proof your hair.

The Color WOW Dream Filter Pre Shampoo Spray is a super unique product that removes the buildup of metals and minerals in your hair, which is what can cause it to discolour. Spray onto dry hair, distributing it evenly until saturated. You can use this product 1-3 times a week.
Follow up your pre-shampoo with the Color WOW Color Security Shampoo. This gentle, sulfate-free shampoo removes product build up and doesn’t leave any residue. Apply a coin sized amount to wet hair, lather and then rinse.
After using the Color WOW Color Security Shampoo, apply the Color WOW Color Security Conditioner Fine-Normal to the mid lengths and ends of your hair and then rinse through with warm water. This conditioner leaves your hair with a glossy finish, and won’t cause discolouration.

Blow dry each section on a downwards angle with the Dyson Supersonic Black Nickel, maintaining tension with a brush. This treatment will last up to 3 washes!
