Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Raspberry Shortcake

I received a sample-sized tube of the Raspberry Shortcake scent with an order. I have used lanolin products before on my feet,and I don't like the thick, tacky feeling they leave, so I wouldn't have purchased this myself. I was very surprised to find how much I like this product as a lip balm! It is thick, but the tube applicator makes it easy to apply a thin layer for just a sheen of protection, or a little thicker for a really nice gloss. My lips retain a lovely, healthy sheen for hours, and still feel moist and protected after eight hours, even after eating and drinking. This is a clear colour so suitable for men also, and so much nicer to use than a chapstick or lipeze! The scent of this one is barely there. It is not flavoured. I highly recommend these as a lip gloss/balm to anybody, but they are supposed to have 101 uses, so I tried it on my nails. To avoid leaving my fingers tacky from the lanolin, I used a q-tip to apply and rub it into my cuticles and nails. Although this was a bit fiddly, it stopped my fingers getting tacky and was well worth it for the result I got - my nails looked so pink and healthy after one application, and any rough cuticles I had were gone in a few days.

I really like this color, and the formula is really moisturizing on your lips but I'm allergic to something in this which has never happened with a lip product for me before. It makes my lips burn!
