AB LAB makeup: skincare-first formulas

AB LAB's makeup range is designed around the same idea as its skincare: keep the ingredient list purposeful and the price accessible. Every product is vegan, cruelty-free, and made in Australia, and most lean on skincare actives like hyaluronic acid rather than treating makeup and skincare as separate categories. The range is small and focused rather than trying to cover every makeup category, so it's easy to see the whole line in one go.

AB LAB lips and cheeks

The HA Plump range brings hyaluronic acid into colour cosmetics, including a lip oil, gloss-balm, and lip and cheek multistick, all aimed at a dewy, hydrated finish rather than a flat, matte one. The multistick in particular is a useful option if you want to cut down on how many products you're carrying around.

AB LAB face and brows

For base makeup, the Barely There Luminous Skin Filter Primer is designed to blur and add radiance under makeup, or on its own on lower-coverage days, without the heavier feel of a full-coverage foundation. The Pep-Pro Grow Brow Gel uses peptides to hold brows in place through the day, and the AB LAB Pep-Pro Grow Tubing Mascara uses a tubing formula for a similar low-flake approach on lashes, building length and separation without smudging under the eyes by the end of the day. The Dewy-C Luminous Face Mist & Setting Spray works as a finishing step to set makeup, or as a midday refresh over the top of it, and pairs with the rest of the Dewy-C skincare line if you already use that range.
