I trialled the Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation after using the online shade matching tool. Unfortunately, the recommended shade was a little too dark and the undertone wasn't the right match for my complexion. I applied it over my usual skincare routine, including a milk toner, hydrating serum and sunscreen, and it layered really well without pilling or separating. I used a foundation brush to apply it, and I liked that it didn't dry too quickly, giving me enough time to blend it evenly. This was especially helpful around my jawline and neck, where I needed to spend extra time buffing the foundation to minimise the noticeable shade difference. The foundation worked beautifully with my concealer, bronzer and blush, creating a seamless finish. It also paired well with my under-eye setting powder and didn't settle into fine lines or crease throughout the day. Personally, I prefer a natural, dewy finish, whereas this foundation has a matte, full-coverage finish. For me, it creates more of a full-glam look that's better suited to evenings, special occasions or stage makeup rather than everyday wear. I trialled it at work, and while the finish looked polished, it was more coverage than I would typically choose for daytime. In terms of longevity, it wore well overall, although I did notice it wore away around my top lip during the day. This was more noticeable because the shade wasn't quite the right match. Overall, I think this would be an excellent option for anyone looking for a long-wearing, full-coverage matte foundation, particularly if they can find their perfect shade.

I'm so happy to be part of this review! I've spent a lot of money trying different foundations, but I've never found one this good. The shade matched beautifully, blended perfectly across my face, and gave a smooth, natural finish even though my skin tone is uneven. Now I'm looking for where I can buy it because I absolutely love it!
