I have been having TROUBLE finding the perfect shampoo. I had been previously using a shampoo that was clarifying and to give shine but it was just drying my oily hair out making the oil problem worse. I do like the feel and look of my thin hair after washing with this shampoo, it's not heavy but still hydrating however I do have a sensitive scalp and I've noticed that I am reacting a little to it. If you have oily thin hair I would recommend this but not if you have a sensitive scalp. I do really like the conditioner though and will keep using that.

I bought this conditioner after testing my housemate's shampoo and conditioner of the Pureology Hydtrate (not the sheer version), she had told me that her version was meant to be really good for oily hair. The shampoo and conditioner that I had been using from a different brand was marketed as clarifying and to give shine but it was not giving shine at all, for my thing oily hair, it was just drying it out and made my oil worse. I tried out the non sheer version of Pureology Hydrate and was really enjoying the shine and was going to purchase it but then I found the Sheer version which is meant to be lighter which is what I need for my thin hair. I am loving this conditioner! It's not giving my naturally wavy hair any dry frizz, its giving just enough hydration and shine without being heavy or looking like there's still product left.

My hair is medium thin and dry. I may have used too much, but this weighed my hair very down. Did not make soft, and just felt real greasy. Probably not suited to my hair which is a shame because I love most by this brand.
