1. Prep with a Heat Protectant
- When it comes to prepping the hair for styling, there are a few ways to go about it, but the most important thing to remember is heat protection, no matter the form it comes in.

2. Part Your Hair for Styling
The next step is to part your hair for successful styling.
Creating sections will make the styling process easier, particularly if you have longer, thicker hair.
- Start by styling the top section of your hair (from crown to eyebrow) in a horse shoe shape.
- Then, move onto the middle section of your hair (top of the ear to bottom), before moving onto the final section of your hair (from the bottom of your ear to the nape of your neck).
3. The Right Technique
- Place the styler close to the roots.
- Twist forward and turn to 180 degrees, then gently guide the styler with the plates down the ends of the hair.
- Repeat and then move to the next section, until all the hair has been curled.
4. Brush Out Your Curls
For a softer look we recommend brushing out your curls.
First, wait for curls to cool before brushing them out with a soft bristle brush.
