I have a confession to make: I’m a serial hair washer.
A cardinal sin in the land of beauty, I know. But alas, one I’ve repeated, time and time again.

As Adore’s newest beauty writer, I’m learning a lot when it comes to hair care. Admittingly, I think I took my lil’ bob for granted.
Still, I listened to my hairdresser, bought all the products and did all the things.
But try as I may, I just couldn’t quite crack the whole oily-roots-and-dry-end shtick.

When we think of hair care, more often than not we think of the products we apply to the body of our hair for volume, shine, texture or otherwise.

Just like our skin, our scalp can be affected by oxidative stressors and environmental aggressors which lead to premature ageing and excess oil build-up.
That’s where Scalp Solutions comes in.

My Aveda Scalp Solutions Review.
I was fortunate enough to try the entire Aveda Scalp Solutions range, but for the purpose of my review, I’ve narrowed it down to top three.
1. Aveda Scalp Solutions Exfoliating Scalp Treatment.

Let me just start by saying I love a scalp treatment.
There is nothing more luxurious than treating your hair to some TLC, especially if I’ve had my hair tightly slicked back in a bun all day.
I decided to road-test the Scalp Solutions Exfoliating Treatment on days I had styling product in my hair to see if delivered on its promise to remove product build-up and excess sebum from the scalp.
Which I’m happy to report that it did, on both fronts.
The citrusy exfoliating scalp treatment lathered up easily and felt almost like a pre-shampoo shampoo.
Its handy tip applicator made it super quick to inject right into my scalp — a big tick for our thicker-haired friends.
My only qualm is that I wish it had a more granular texture, like a salt scrub.
While the gel-like formula was nice and soothing, I love being able to really get in there and scour away those dead skin cells.
