Everyone's saying it but MAC really has been on fire again lately haven't they? I saw a youtuber who used this lip pencil in the shade Whirlin' across multiple videos to create a specific effect, and I'd been recently looking at the lip liners I have (mostly Korean brands at the moment), and on swatching them, I thought they were all a bit too drying for my hydrating lipstick/lipbalm preferences. I wanted a more hydrating lip liner and I'm glad I gave this a try! This is shockingly long lasting for for what it is - and lasts hours especially compared to other creamy liners. When it sets, it doesn't have a powdery or drying finish but rather a satiny finish that isn't too much. I had a bit of trouble choosing a colour but I am happy with whirlin as it tones down nicely - a great balance between blendability and colour payoff. A surprise new fav for me!
