The phrase “magic serum” gives me mixed feelings. On the one hand, I am sceptical about hyperbolic claims, but on the other hand, I feel warm and fuzzy and want to try it immediately.
When Kérastase’s 8HR Magic Night Serum landed on my desk, I was indeed sceptical. I am much more interested in magical face serums that erase fine lines, give me a plumped-up glow or help me look like I’ve had a solid eight hours of sleep.
Because in all honesty, there is no amount of beauty wizardry that can make my wild hair manageable. Well, so I thought…
The Back Story:
To tell you the truth, I wasn’t even going to write this article. I took the serum home, and just as I was about to pop it into my cupboard with about a dozen other unused hair products, I scanned the bottle.
