My Verdict on Napoleon’s New Mascaras for Volume, Length and Curl

Shopping for a mascara is so personal and now there are an infinite number of formulas that it’s not really realistic to expect every formula to work on every set of eyelashes. It’s just not humanly possible.

Plus, mascaras can do many different things now. Some add length, some are designed to curl and others are designed to thicken and plump up your lashes.

And don’t get me started on how much weight the mascara wands carry.

Mascara wands can make or break a product and honestly they do so much of the heavy-lifting.

So basically, what we like at the end of the day, can be quite different - kind of like choosing a favourite ice cream flavour.

Which is probably also why brands now drop a bunch of mascaras all at the same time, which is something Aussie makeup brand Napoleon recently did and we need to talk about their three new formulas.

They have released three mascaras: One that adds dimension and boosts and curls your lashes, one mascara specifically for length and of course, one for volume (and, it’s a tubing one!)

So let's take your lash game (just in time for party season) to the next level and meet these new Napoleon mascaras.

Best Napoleon Perdis Mascara.

1. Napoleon Perdis Extend Yourself Lengthening Mascara.

What: Napoleon Perdis Extend Yourself Lengthening Mascara

Fast facts:

  • Lengthening mascara that doesn't clump.

  • 360° double-bristle brush.

  • Infused with carnauba wax and panthenol to support and condition your lashes.

My mini Napoleon Perdis Extend Yourself Lengthening Mascara review:

I personally am a huge fan of lengthening mascaras.

They are my favourite type of mascara and this one just makes your lashes look so long and gives them a bit of a lifted look.

However, I do always curl my lashes first, and they will always drop a little when the mascara I’m using isn’t a waterproof one but this one doesn’t drop that much which is impressive.

It is very natural looking though, so if you like more depth and drama to your lashes this one is not for you.

Although if you love lift and length and a natural, every day formula this is a goodie.

2. Napoleon Perdis All-Out Volumising Mascara.

What: Napoleon Perdis All-Out Volumising Mascara

Fast facts:

  • A tubing mascara that gives lashes buildable volume.

  • Contains carnauba wax, shea butter and panthenol to support and condition.

  • Removes easily and is smudge-proof.

My mini Napoleon Perdis All-Out Volumising Mascara review:

Normally I'm not a big fan of volumising mascaras - at all.

So when I popped this one on I was surprised that I liked it - and then I realised it was because it was a tubing mascara!

Now just fyi, tubing mascaras are those mascaras that contain tube-like polymers that wrap around each individual lash and are super easy to remove at the end of the day when you take your makeup off.

They just slide off your lashes so you don’t end up with panda eyes or any pesky smudging.

This mascara does exactly what it says it does, delivers buildable volume and is easy to remove.

I personally think one to two coats is fine for during the day, but this one would be a great double up to build up volume on your lashes for any night time events too.

If long and thick lashes are your jam - this one is for you.

3. Napoleon Perdis Next Dimension Lash-Boosting Mascara.

What: Napoleon Perdis Next Dimension Lash-Boosting Mascara

Fast facts:

  • Versatile mascara that lengthens, curls, separates and defines.

  • Moulded, multi-bristle brush coats lashes from root to tip.

  • No clumping.

  • Contains vitamin E and carnauba wax to condition lashes.

My mini Napoleon Perdis Next Dimension Lash-Boosting Mascara review:

This is definitely the meet in the middle mascara from the bunch.

It adds lengths, volumises just enough and helps to curl, but if you’re heavy-handed I found it made some of my lashes clump together… and I think it’s because of the wand.

The wand matters you guys! The formula also feels the wettest from the lot - so more is not more with mascaras like these.

And while I’m sure there is a way of perfecting the application of this mascara I tend to do my makeup application on the fly so maybe in a next life when I have more time.
