Huda Beauty is an OG when it comes to innovative and effective products. They’re always ahead of the trends, and somehow manage to always master it!
Recently, they have released so many fun products which have quickly found their place in my own routine.
Here are my honest thoughts about some new Huda Beauty products that I think you need to try, especially if you're a makeup lover like me.
Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Mousse, $43

If you’re worried that the 2010s ultra-drying, super matte liquid lipsticks are back, then I can assure you that these Matte Mousse Lips are anything but. The formula is soft, pillowy and extremely comfortable for all-day wear.
Unlike the old-school matte lipsticks, this formula leaves a soft, blurred finish which does not settle into fine lines, but instead stays comfortable and hydrating all day long. The whipped texture lives up to its “mousse” name, leaving a very lightweight finish, even if you build up the product.
Its sleek tube is also perfect to have on the go with you.
For a soft blurred lip, I love tapping the product onto the centre of my lips with my finger. But, on days I want a full glam look with a precise finish, I love pairing this with the Lip Contour Stain for a defined look. Bonus points for topping off with the Faux Filter Gloss the juiciest lips!
There are 8 beautiful shades ranging from nudes, pinks and browns. My top picks are Warm Brown and Bombshell Pinky Brown.
Beauty hack: I love getting the most out of my products, and a little trick I like to do with the Matte Mousse is to dab some onto my cheeks as a liquid blush! Works a treat.
Huda Beauty Lip Contour Stain, $45

Huda Beauty heard that there was market for lip stains and gave us one of the best lip stains out there.
Inspired by the iconic Lip Contour Lip Liners, the Lip Contour Stains are incredibly pigmented and long-lasting. Yes, it lasts the whole day even after eating, drinking and yapping all day long. As a makeup girly who works a 9-5, this lip stain is definitely a staple in my makeup bag.
Unlike some lip stains, this one does not bleed or smear and is incredibly comfortable (you will actually forget that it’s on!). I love applying this stain on its own on days I’d like a bit of colour to freshen up my look.
Pro tip: To get the most out of your Lip Contour Stain, you must store tip down. This will ensure you get a super pigmented, even release of product.
Of course, it’s smudge-proof, long-lasting and transfer-proof - as all good lip stains should be.
Hack: I like to define my lips with the Lip Contour Stain and then blend the inner portion of my lips to get a seamless blend and finish. Because this formula does not bleed, you’re guaranteed to have the most precise look.
There’s a reason why I have gifted this to so many of my friends and family, I truly swear by it!
My picks are: Warm Brown, Toasty Brown and Cinnamon.
Huda Beauty Easy Bake Pressed Powder 2.0, $70

I’ve tried many pressed powder alternatives of my favourite loose powder and it never hits the same. The Huda Beauty Easy Bake Pressed Powder is the only pressed powder that is still effective as its loose counterpart.
The sleek compact also makes it easy to travel with and on-the-go touch-ups. I have a mini with me at all times!
Pro Tip: If you want the most airbrushed finish, apply the Easy Bake Pressed Powder right after you have applied your cream products (i.e., foundation and concealer). Once you’ve set with the pressed powder, you can then lightly layer with the Easy Bake Loose Powder. This will make your base look like a filter but will also help your makeup last longer.
I personally love using a sponge to apply the powder, I feel like you have better control of the product. However, a brush works just as great.
My picks: Banana Bread for setting, Peach Cupcake for brightening.
Huda Beauty Easy Bake Intense EDP, $130

If anyone knows me, they would know I am the biggest Easy Bake advocate. So, when I heard that Huda Beauty had reformulated their Easy Bake fragrance, I could not be more excited to get my hands on it.
A few months ago, I had the pleasure of attending the launch event in Sydney and being one of the first to play around with the scent before it hit the shelves.
My instant thought was that this was a beautiful gourmand fragrance! In my opinion, they have nailed the complexities of mixing floral with woody and sweet notes.
The Easy Bake Fragrance has a unique blend of:
- Top note: wild cherry
- Middle notes: white flowers, cinnamon bark, caramel and milk
- Base note: vanilla bourbon
When I heard this fragrance had such a beautiful but tricky scent profile, I was worried it would be overpowering. However, the HB team has created an incredibly airy and balanced scent, which transforms the more it settles into your skin. It’s seriously a beautiful combination!
Tip: apply to your pulse points (wrists, decolletage and behind the ears). If you really want to lock in the scent, apply to freshly moisturised skin.
The bottle is such a statement piece, which is a bonus.
P.S. A little goes a long way!
