What hair concern is the Kérastase Gloss Absolu Bain Crème Hydra-Glaze designed for?
The Kérastase Gloss Absolu Rich Shampoo is a professional, deeply moisturizing cleanser engineered specifically for thick, coarse, or naturally dry long hair structures. It functions as a thick dry hair illuminating wash, removing impurities while infusing essential lipids into rough cuticles.
-
How should I use this rich moisturizing shampoo for long hair for best results?
Apply a small, coin-sized portion of this creamy fluid to completely wet hair and focus your massage directly on the scalp to form a rich lather. Rinse thoroughly, then repeat with a second smaller application. The first wash clears away oil, while the second round smooths the hair cuticle.
-
Will this anti frizz cream shampoo weigh down very fine hair structures?
If your hair is extremely fine, limp, or thins easily, this richly concentrated creamy formula might be too heavy for daily use. Fine hair types should instead opt for the standard Bain Hydra-Glaze version from the same line, which provides a lightweight gel texture that clarifies weightlessly.
-
Can I use the Kérastase Gloss Absolu Rich Shampoo every single day?
Yes, the gentle, nutrient-rich cream base is perfectly safe for daily use if your hair care routine requires frequent washing. It thoroughly cleanses surface oil and dirt while respecting your scalp's moisture barrier, keeping coarse strands feeling completely flexible, soft, and smooth.
-
Is this thick dry hair illuminating wash safe for colour-treated hair?
Absolutely. Coarse coloured or bleached hair structures are naturally porous and lose their inner lipids quickly, leading to a rough texture. This shampoo works to fill those structural gaps, protecting your shade vibrancy while creating an incredibly smooth surface that maximizes light reflection.
-
What is the exact size of the Kérastase Bain Crème Hydra-Glaze bottle?
The standard retail size bottle of this professional formula contains 250ml of product. Because it relies on an intensive, concentrated cleansing base that forms a rich lather with only a small portion, a single bottle lasts through many weeks of consistent use.
-
Does this cream shampoo help control static and flyaways in high humidity?
Yes, by restoring the natural hydration balance inside the hair shaft, this rich moisturizing shampoo for long hair keeps the cuticle flat and smooth, directly reducing stubborn frizz and static flyaways even when conditions get humid during the day.
-
Should I pair this cleanser with a matching conditioner or masque?
For the absolute best high-gloss results, we highly recommend following your wash with the Kérastase Gloss Absolu Hydra Masque. Using them as a system locks in maximum hydration and shine while making thick, coarse mid-lengths completely effortless to brush through.
-
Does this formula contain harsh sulfates that strip the hair?
This shampoo does contain gentle, balanced cleansing agents to ensure a thorough wash that completely removes styling buildup and dulling pollution particles, providing a fresh scalp feeling while keeping your lengths incredibly soft and smooth.
-
Will this formula help detangle thick hair knots while I wash?
Yes, the rich cream base creates a smooth, frictionless lather that allows your fingers to slide through thick hair easily during application, minimizing physical pulling and breakage in the shower before you even reach for your conditioner.
-
What active ingredients drive the deep smoothing action?
The formula relies on an advanced blend of moisture-locking lipids and restorative conditioning agents that coat and flatten the outer cuticle layer, transforming dull, rough, or unmanageable strands into a smooth sheet of reflective gloss.
-
What fragrance profile does this rich cream shampoo carry?
It features an incredibly luxurious, sophisticated signature fragrance inspired by fine French perfumes. It blends top notes of fresh berries with elegant floral blossoms and a warm amber base, keeping your hair smelling expensive and fresh until your next wash day.
