The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is a powerful water-based serum that should be introduced carefully into a skincare routine. It can be used once, or twice daily depending on preference and is suitable for morning and/or night use. Apply before moisturiser and oil treatments. If you are also using a Vitamin-C-based serum, the Niacinamide and Zinc serum should be applied at the opposite time of day. So if you use vitamin C in the morning, use Niacinamide and Zinc in the evening, as the two can interact negatively with each other.

When and how often should I use The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum?
You can use The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% morning and night, right after cleansing and before applying heavier serums or moisturisers. If you’re new to it or have sensitive skin, start with once a day to see how your skin reacts. Over time, consistent use helps refine skin texture, balance oil production, and minimise the look of blemishes.
How much Niacinamide should I use, and how do I apply it?
A little goes a long way! Use two to three drops, enough to lightly cover your face without feeling sticky or heavy. Apply it to clean, damp skin by gently pressing it in—don’t rub aggressively. Let it absorb for a few seconds before layering other skincare products. If you're using multiple serums, Niacinamide should go before heavier oils or creams for better absorption.

A.Hi Madeleine, Thanks for your question! You could definitely incorporate the Niacinamide Serum with the Clear Skin Pack! I would recommend cleansing with the Alpha-h Clear Skin Daily Face Wash, then apply The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% +Zinc 1% serum all over the face, followed by Alpha-h Clear Skin Daily Hydrator Gel.
