If you are using the serum for the first time, patch test a small amount on a discreet area of skin before full application. Step 2. Apply a small amount of The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 0.5% Body Serum - 240mL to targeted areas of the body where needed. Avoid applying to broken, irritated or sensitive skin. Step 3. Gently spread the serum evenly over the skin until absorbed. Do not rinse off. Step 4. Follow with a moisturiser if needed to complete your body care routine. Step 5. Use the serum as directed by the brand, depending on your skinâs tolerance and needs. Avoid using it at the same time as other exfoliating treatments unless advised. Step 6. During the day, apply broad-spectrum SPF to exposed areas of skin after using exfoliating products. Step 7. Wash your hands after application and close the bottle securely.
