Alterna Easy Does It Air-Dry Balm Review.
So, did this styling balm and haircare product for curly hair live up to its big promise?
Hannah and her natural curls were grateful when Adore's Senior Editor Amy gave her a sample of this product to trial before her overseas holiday.
Taking heat tools to Thailand was never part of Hannah's plan.
But anyone with wavy, textured or curly hair will know air-drying without a dedicated anti-humidity product can increase frizz.
Speaking on the Beauty IQ Uncensored podcast, Hannah explained she applied the product to freshly-washed hair before watching some TV.
She was shocked at just how quickly her hair dried, and in the way she wanted.
“It was almost quite magical. Like, why is my hair already so dry?" she said.
"If you like to air-dry your hair, this is a really good balm. It also helps with frizz and bringing out the natural texture of your hair, especially if you just scrunch up the hair."
Here is Hannah with her smooth air-dried waves!
Having never used a styling balm like this one on her curls, Hannah loved the dual-purpose nature of this product, too.
"It would be really good in the morning if you couldn't really be bothered styling your hair before work and you needed to wash it after the gym."
"If you want to just chuck [the product] in and scrunch up your curls and let them air dry, then this would be absolutely perfect for you."
To conclude, this hair balm is a winner if you want to reduce frizz, cut drying time, dry your hair naturally and enhance natural texture.
And in our humble opinion, $35 for a 100ml tube of product that guarantees good hair days is pretty damn good!
