When it comes to staple beauty products, there are certainly a few products a beauty lover and editor like myself, will repeatedly repurchase time and time again.

May it be an overpriced powder or low-budget primer, my staple beauty buys are typically coined as those go-to products I can rely on without fail.

Whilst I will always lust over the new and improved affordable beauty buys and must-haves, these seven staple beauty products will always take prime position on my top shelf, year after year.

1. Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream.

What: Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream 50ml

Although moisturisers are a basic beauty routine necessity, it is one product most skincare lovers like myself are extremely picky about.

Since I started using Laneige’s popular Water Bank Blue HA Cream Moisturiser, I have not gone back.

Featuring Blue Hyaluronic Acid, I've found this moisturiser’s formula to plump my skin, all whilst remaining non-greasy and fast absorbing.

Although I prefer not to apply moisturiser to my skin in the evening, I do use this daily as my main moisturiser before any serums or primers.

As I have never been fond of the heavy, suffocating feeling certain facial moisturisers left me with, I now opt to choose a moisturiser with a lightweight consistency and streamlined formula.

Doing so, allows my pores to breathe and with a quick-drying formula, I can easily transition into my makeup routine within a few minutes.

2. Coco & Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam.

What: Coco & Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam

As a fair-skinned, red-head, I can confidently say I have tried and tested almost every self-tanning product known to man.

That said, few have stayed and remained on my skin – and in my vanity – quite like this deliciously smelling Coco & Eve bronzing foam.

As someone who opts for a slighter darker sun-kissed tan, I choose to apply the tanning foam before bed, leaving it to develop darker overnight.

Featuring both coconut and mandarin oils, I've found the bronzing foam to always glide and absorb into my skin without that stiffness or dried-out effect I typically incur with other self-tanning products.

With a smell similar to that of a fruity mocktail, marinating in this bronzing foam is also ever so easy.

3. Hada Labo Moisturising Facial Sheet Mask.

What: Hada Labo Moisturising Facial Sheet Mask 20ml

Having been investing in sheet masks since my tween years, I can confidently confirm that some masks simply do not mask like the others.

After trialling one of Hada Labo Moisturising Facial Sheet Masks, I knew I was hooked.

Easy to apply, discard, with no sticky residue or reactions…it was as though my skin had met her match made in heaven.

With each sheet mask infused with an entire bottle of serum, powered by Hada Labo Tokyo’s Super Hyaluronic Acid™, these Japanese facial sheet masks are designed to deeply moisturise, revive, and smooth the skin – and that they do.

Frequently travelling for work, I like to pack 2-3 sheet masks in my carry-on luggage for overseas and longer-haul flights.

Only needing roughly 15 minutes to absorb, they are perfect for giving my pores a quick refresh before hitting the tarmac.

4. Bondi Sands MELT ME CLEANSING BALM.

What: Bondi Sands MELT ME CLEANSING BALM 100ML

As a matte-loving foundation wearer, the time it takes me to remove my makeup is typically longer than the application process.

That said, I usually do prioritise doing a double cleanse in the evenings, using either a cleansing balm, foam or oil.

For the past few months, I have turned away from trialling many new and improved cleansers and returned to my cult-favourite Bondi Sands Melt Me Balm.

As the name states, this balm-like formula assists in melting your makeup down to the point where it is easily able to glide off your face with either a washer or makeup-removing pad.

Featuring sea buckthorn oil and ceramides, this cleanser targets cleansing your skin whilst also hydrating your face utilising both active ingredients and natural botanicals – benefiting both your skin and the planet.

5. Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara.

What: Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara

Although few may admit it, every beauty lover has that cult favourite product they have been using since what feels like high school.

For me, that product is the good old Maybelline Mascara, specifically the Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara.

Giving a fuller more volumised look to my lashes, I opt to use this mascara when I am looking for darker jet-black coverage as opposed to a lighter, subdued black formula.

Being enriched with a series of natural oils, this mascara easily glides onto my lashes, providing a nourishing application - as opposed to those with a formula that when applied to the lashes feels stiffer and harder to use due to the lack, or overuse of ingredients.

Whilst it is cheaper than most top-shelf brands, it is one product I believe to be rather underhyped.

With a thick application brush and concentrated jet-black formula, this is the type of mascara I don’t find myself having to re-apply numerous coats of.

6. Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Raspberry Shortcake.

What: Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Raspberry Shortcake

There’s no denying it, every woman is in somewhat of a committed relationship with their favourite lip-balm, gloss or stick.

Whether it’s buried in the bottom of my handbag or stashed in my car door, the chances of catching me without my staple lip balm, are highly unlikely.

Having been using Lanolips since I can remember, the introduction of their Raspberry Shortcake Flavour was the sweet addition my balm collection desperately needed.

Perfectly pocket-sized, the sweet yet buttery Vitamin E-packed balm is ideal for those - like myself - who are inside all day, and find the combination of office air-conditioning and little fresh air, to dry out our lips quicker than normal.

7. INIKA Organic Radiant Glow Veil.

What: INIKA Organic Radiant Glow 30ml

There’s nothing I love more than a duo product and this Inika Organic Radiant Glow Veil serves as a primer, moisturiser and illuminator.

Whilst I do love self-tanning, I have never been one to apply self-tanner directly onto my face, hence I have found these drops to be ideal for when I am looking to apply a slighty bronzed glow to my face and cheeks.

Preferring a deeper sun-kissed glow, I choose to alternate between applying a few drops directly onto my face and a few drops into my liquid foundation.

Enriched with aloe vera, argan oil and magnolia bark extract, these drops leave my face with a glowy bronzed look, minus the greasy residue most oil-based skin boosters usually contain.
