Our Beauty Editors Share Their All-Time Favourite Beauty Products of 2021...

I'm Adore Beauty's resident beauty newbie. Before working at Adore, I was travelling the world for 4 months with just one tiny tube of Jurlique moisturiser. I washed my face with warm water and used olive oil as a deep conditioning treatment. Oh, how things have changed!

It has to be said... my Beauty IQ Uncensored podcast co-host Joanna and I have pretty sweet gigs.

All year long, we try hundreds of new products so we can share our PWDKWNs (products we didn't know we needed) on the podcast each week.

But this year, we were asked to contemplate which products were our MVPs of 2021.

It was tough. But we narrowed it down, so if it’s on this list, it must mean it’s pretty bloody special.

From a game-changing hair mask that repairs damage in just one wash, to a lengthening mascara under $25, these are our favourite beauty products of 2021.

Joanna’s Favourite Products of 2021.

1. Aspect Super PD.

Why she loves it:

Aspect Super PD Complex is a protective antioxidant serum but it’s also really good for post-procedure.

When my skin is feeling hot and irritated, it’s really good to calm it down.

It’s got a combination of enzymes, antioxidants, amino acids and hyaluronic acid, which all work together to help to even out skin tone and texture and to target ageing and pigmentation concerns.

I love the texture because it layers really well over other products.

2. K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Mask.

Why she loves it:

After using K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Mask 50ml for four washes in a row, my hair is so silky and shiny, and the ends look so much healthier.

It’s definitely worth the price tag if your hair is dry and damaged.

If nothing else has worked on your hair, you HAVE to try K18. The science is very different to anything else on the market.

3. L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara.

Why she loves it:

I really wanted to try this mascara because I’d seen people raving about it on social media.

L'Oreal Paris Paradise Mascara - Black has a really fluffy brush and it gives a lot of volume and length to the lashes.

I find it keeps them lifted all day, which I really struggle with because my lashes are really fine.

4. Jo by Jo Loves Candle.

Why she loves it:

Even though Jo Loves Jo by Jo Loves Home Candle 185g is not my typical scent, I really love it.

It has notes of grapefruit, lime and guaiac wood - so it’s very citrusy and it makes your whole house smell very fresh.

It comes in a red vessel with a silver lid. Plus, it has my name on the front of it!

1. Dermalogica Smart Response Serum.

Why I love it:

Back in Feb, I said Skin Virtue Future Advanced Line Filler was my favourite serum of 2021.

But I’m calling it, Dermalogica Smart Response Serum 30ml has just come out on top.

I used it morning and night until the bottle was empty, and I really noticed a difference in my skin.

It addresses multiple skin concerns in the one serum, including redness, fine lines, dark spots and dehydration.

I love the texture too - it’s a lightweight cream-gel hybrid.

2. Olaplex No. 8.

Why I love it:

Olaplex No. 8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask contains their signature bond repair ingredient, so not only does it intensely hydrate and soften the hair, but it also repairs it from the inside out by rebuilding broken bonds in the hair shaft.

Your hair feels stronger and softer after just one wash, without weighing down the hair.

I use it instead of conditioner once or twice a week and have noticed a big difference in the health of my hair.
