This first one is a bit of a no-brainer.

Have hair on your head? Wash your face daily? Cut bangs recently? (This last one hits a little close to home.)

Then you need this cute cosmetic headband in your life.

It’s already replaced my bunny ears as my go-to. Namely, because it’s a) ultra-soft and b) ultra-comfy.

It also doesn’t tug on my hair or leave pressure marks like regular headbands and clips often do.

And it’s the ideal size for many a mane – from the long and lively to the short and sweet.

2. Manicare DermaSmooth Fuzz Remover 2 Pack.

My Manicare DermaSmooth Fuzz Remover review:

As someone who is constantly battling fur on my upper lip, I was v excited to give this one a go.

Turns out, what I lack in hair on my actual head I more than make up for with hair on my face. Who knew?

In hindsight, I guess I should have; given how dark and thick my eyebrows (and mo’) are.

Of course, peach fuzz is completely normal.

In fact, it’s essential in protecting your skin and helping your body regulate its temperature.

But let’s be real – there are times in life that we’d prefer not to have a hairy face.

Which is where these come in.

As a first-time dermaplaner, I appreciated how straightforward these razors are to use.

They feature a dual-end that makes it easy to shave even the finest facial hairs, from your brows to your sideburns.

They’re lightweight, smartly shaped and come packaged with a protective cover to avoid rust; what more could we ask for?

My Manicare Crystal Hair Remover review:

I’m going to level with you guys: it took me a few goes to truly understand this beauty tool.

As someone with thick, dark leg hair that grows at lightning speed, I’m always up for a product that helps keep it in check.

Did it deliver? The answer is two-fold.

On the one hand, it did a decent job of buffing away the dead skin cells that had set up camp on my legs.

But the stubborn shin stubble? That took a bit of elbow grease.

After some trial and error, I found it works best when my skin is clean, soft and dry post-shower.

It also helps to gently pull the skin you’re targeting tight as you use it.

While I don’t typically shave my arms, I gave it a crack for my road test and found the device was less effective on long, fine hair than it is on short stubble.

So as long as you proceed with optimism and a healthy dose of patience, you (and your legs) should be in the clear.

5. Manicare Precision Cleansing Wand.

I was today years old when I discovered the beauty of a cleansing wand.

Is it an entirely necessary component of your skincare routine? No.

But does it feel ridiculously luxurious? Yes.

Don’t be fooled, this clever cleansing wand is so much more than meets the eye.

It’s also a skincare applicator, pore clearer, makeup brush cleanser, lip exfoliator; I could keep going, but you get the gist.

I’ve been loving pairing the wand with a facial exfoliant for a deep second cleanse.

I also appreciate its hygienic design that’s ideal for scooping and slathering my skincare.

And all this for under $20 – consider me converted.

My mini Manicare Makeup Blending Sponges review:

OK, makeup blending sponges aren’t exactly groundbreaking.

I’m sure you’ve got a few scattered around your home. Some of them may even be ripe for replacement (which is recommended every 1-3 months FYI).

So I thought I’d be cheeky and throw these in here anyway.

The lineup of sponges includes options that are environmentally friendly, velvet in texture and precisely designed for those hard-to-reach places.

My pick is the Manicare Velvety Microfibre Sponge (top right), which is designed for maximum product pickup and transfer - ideal for setting under-eye powder with a soft finish.

In close second is the Precision Blending Sponge (top left), which makes blending concealer a breeze.
