SkinCeuticals Cleansers Are Back! Here’s Which Serums to Pair Them With

SkinCeuticals serums have long been heralded as some of the best on the market.

A quick Google search and you’ll find many a beauty editor waxing lyrical about their high-potency cosmeceutical range.

Particularly, SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic.

If you’re yet to experience the wonders of this glowy anti-ageing treatment, I’m going to assume you have the fountain of youth in your backyard.

Either that or its exxy price tag put you off—which is understandable.

(That said, there’s a reason why it has 400-plus five-star reviews and is our founder’s all-time favourite serum…)

A moisture-enhancing gel formulated with hyaluronic acid to bind moisture to the skin and vitamin B5 to help with tissue repair and replenish nutrients.

My SkinCeuticals Gentle Cleanser review:

Even though I have dry skin, I tend to opt for a balm or oil over a cream cleanser as I usually find them too gentle to give my skin a satisfying clean and remove my makeup.

But after using this one by SkinCeuticals, I (happily) stand corrected!

It may have taken an extra pump or two to work the Gentle Cleanser into a thick, silky lather, but once I did, I was pleasantly surprised at how soothing and nourishing it felt.

I was equally as surprised by its refreshing citrus scent, especially considering I’m not usually the biggest fan of fragrance in skincare—although I’d imagine this is a result of its inclusion of orange peel oil over anything artificial.

But perhaps my favourite part of the SkinCeuticals Gentle Cleanser was how my skin looked and felt afterwards: soft, smooth and supple. And hydrated, of course.

If you’ve got dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a go! It would also be beneficial to help repair a compromised skin barrier.

Radiance & Uneven Skin Tone.

Your cleanser: SkinCeuticals Glycolic Renewal Cleanser 200ml

Fast facts:

• SkinCeuticals Glycolic Renewal Cleanser helps to brighten, smooth and rehydrate all skin types, especially those with concerns around the first signs of ageing, dullness, fine lines or uneven skin texture.

"Firstly, welcome back SkinCeuticals cleansers!

I can’t say I missed you because, well, I’ve never actually tried a SkinCeuticals cleanser.

What I have a tried though, is SkinCeuticals Silymarin serum. The potent vitamin C and popular girl C E Ferulic’s sister for oilier skins like mine that gave me radiant skin after one bottle. (Truly, nothing beats a SkinCeuticals vitamin C).

And now that I’ve tried the SkinCeuticals Glycolic Renewal Cleanser here is two things I know for sure:

1. My bank account is going to be a little cross with me, because this cleanser is $70 and I’m sorry, but it’s worth every penny.

2. My dull skin has never looked brighter straight after using a cleanser.

Delivering on its promise of lifting dull skin, this high-potency cleanser (which was a little stingy on the eyes so tread with caution), successfully wiped off all my makeup and left me with clearer, brighter-looking skin.

What’s special about this cleanser is it's powered by 8% Glycolic Free Acid Value (I’m not a percentage-chaser, but 8% getting into my skin, dissolving dead skin cells and over time making my skin more glowy - is very impressive).

It also boasts ingredients like 1% phytic acid (enhances skin clarity, gives a more even appearance) aloe barbadensis leaf extract and glycerin (hydrates, cools and protects the skin’s natural barrier function).

I wouldn't usually encourage you to spend this much on a bookend product, but this one is not your average cleanser folks.

It's exfoliating, cleansing and it’s giving you more radiant skin.

Perfect for those who want a high-performing cleanser for dullness, well-ageing or uneven skin tone and texture."

Blemish-prone Skin.

Your cleanser: SkinCeuticals LHA Cleansing Gel

Fast facts:
