My PMD Beauty Clean Body Review.
My current body care routine is pretty extensive, and this PMD device fits right in.
It’s relatively large and made from waterproof silicone, so it’s easy enough to grip and manoeuvre around the body.
The long handle makes it a no brainer for exfoliating your back before applying fake tan, too!
After a few weeks of testing, I’ve been enjoying using the loofah side to clean my entire body.
Then, the silicone bristles do a great job of really getting rid of sweat and bacteria on my chest, shoulders and back. The entire tool uses what’s called SonicGlow™ technology so it buzzes slightly, deepening the clean.
If it had been a long day or I was craving a little extra TLC, I’d add the massage head and use it to ease out knots in my neck, shoulders and upper back.
It wasn’t as life-changing as a professional massage, but it was certainly a nice little ritual.
I also used the exfoliating disc weekly on any dry spots.
Mostly on my feet… cute.
It only gently vibrates, so it’s not a super abrasive exfoliation, but it did do a stellar job of smoothing out my heels.
If I had the energy to use it daily, I think the results would be even better. It would also be great for reducing ingrown hairs, and smoothing out dry, flaky areas like the elbows and knees.
With ongoing use, the PMD Clean Body device left my skin super clean, soft and smooth.
My one criticism would be that you actually have to remember to use it for it to work. I know.
Even though it's water-proof, I didn’t store my PMD Clean Body in the shower because I was worried about the charging port.
Hence the need to remember to grab it off the vanity.
Honestly, you can probably achieve these results with tools that aren’t $200+, but I’d be lying if I said the PMD Beauty Clean wasn’t an absolute treat to use.
Where does it fit into my evening body care routine?
Before using the device in the shower, I like to dry body brush using a tool like SALT BY HENDRIX Dry Body Brush and lather up in L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil 500ml - an all-time favourite shower oil of mine!
When I hop out of the shower, I apply a moisturiser while my skin is still damp before locking everything in with an oil — Weleda, Kora and Jurlique are all on high rotation.
A final body care tip: Apply your rejected active face serums and creams on your body!
It’s a great way to use up anything you didn’t love, but don’t want to waste — not to mention target any body skin scarring, uneven texture or dark spots.
Final Verdict...
Overall, I’m really into this device.
It’s effective, it’s bougie and it leaves you feeling oh so soft.
Will I keep using every single attachment on this device every single night? Nope, because I'm lazy.
But it will be staying in my shower routine, for sure.
My favourite attachment is the relax massage head because I carry lots of tension in my neck and shoulders.
I also loved the loofah as it cleanses but leaves the skin smooth, too.
If you're an in-and-out showerer who hates having too many products in their routine, the PMD device probably isn't for you...
But if high-tech beauty tools get you excited, you struggle with dry skin and blemishes on your body (including backne and chest acne) or you want to get smoother body skin with zero effort, I'd add to cart.
