Wishful is a skincare line created by entrepreneur Huda Kattan.
The business-minded and beauty-obsessed family also have their fragrance brand Kayali, but that's a story for another day.
Wishful skincare was made with the intention of delivering gentle, effective and simplified skincare that could easily slot into any routine.
It's a social media-led skincare brand for makeup lovers.

Wishful’s goal is to deliver unfussy, accessible products with intentional ingredients.
Huda landed on the Wishful skin name after asking her beauty-savvy community what they would ‘wish’ for in skincare products.
This inspired Huda to create products with her customers' wants and ‘skin wishes’ in mind.
Wishful skin products are sensorial, with stunning packaging and fun names like 'clean genie' and 'honey whip'.
The range includes products like the Wishful Eye Lift & Contour Double Peptide Hydrogel Masks starting from $8, to $97 for the popular Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub 100ml the brand first went viral with.
Wishful Get Even Rose Oil 30ml is another viral sensation - Huda refers to it as her “magic oil”. We love this TikTok video showing how glassy it makes the skin look!
Wishful is cruelty-free and the products are also free from things like formaldehydes (you can check out their brand page for the full list).
When Wishful first launched on Adore Beauty (yep, we're an official stockist!), our work chats were swarmed with staffers asking what the ‘must-have’ Wishful skin care products were.
A note that what works for me might not work for you - doesn't mean a product doesn't work or isn't 'good'.
So here are the top Wishful products myself and Senior Editor Amy are loving right now.
What: Wishful Thirst Trap Juice & Peptide Serum 30ml
Fast facts:
Say hello to an instantly plump and hydrated face thanks to this vegan and cruelty-free serum that’s made with three types of hyaluronic acid.
Contains peptides (to help plump, firm and promote collagen) and aloe vera (to soothe, refresh and cool skin).
Suitable for all skin types but even more ideal for dull or dehydrated skin, this serum also contains one of my favourite, all-rounder skincare ingredients - niacinamide.
In an independent consumer testing panel of 32 men and women (of all skin types and tones), 93% agreed their skin felt plumped after 28 days.
My Wishful Thirst Trap review:
I popped this on right after my shower and my currently stressed and dry skin didn’t look so stressed anymore.
I always take my ‘after’ pics right after applying a product but here’s an after pic facing the sunlight so you can see the dewiness it leaves!
As you can see in my Wishful skin routine video below, it made my Honey Whip moisturiser go on nicely too (more on that product in a bit!).
If the iridescent bottle doesn’t win you over like it did me, then the instantly juicy skin it delivers will.
The aloe vera in the formula makes it perfect for those who want something soothing come summer when the heat is going to be a bit of a nuisance on our skin.

Fast facts:
Packed with natural extracts and potent actives such as manuka honey (softens and smooths), cica (soothes and helps reduce redness), peptides (encourages cell turnover) and collagen.
Is non-comedogenic (won't clog your pores or cause breakouts) and is also dermatologist tested.
In an independent consumer testing panel of 50 people, 90% agreed their skin felt firmer after 10 days.

My Wishful Honey Whip Moisturiser review:
This rich but lightweight moisturiser uses those lovely aforementioned ingredients to help firm, lift, repair and plump the skin.
The Honey Whip moisturiser comes with a really nice scent (funnily enough it doesn’t smell like honey) that’s not too overpowering.
True to its name, the whipped texture makes it a dream to smooth over and work into the skin and doesn’t leave behind a thick or greasy film.
So while the brand says this is a good moisturiser for winter, I reckon I'll also wear it in summer under makeup for an even, smooth and plump-looking base.
If you end up doing the same, make sure to follow up with your SPF application friends!
What: Wishful Clean Genie Cleansing Butter Makeup Remover 100g
Fast facts:
A silky cleansing balm that easily removes even long-wear and waterproof makeup.
Super silky and satisfying balm texture emulsifies to an oil when massaged onto dry skin as your first cleansing step.
Slightly fragranced (sensitive folk may not enjoy), with a very fun aqua colour.
Contains antioxidants green tea extract, cherry blossom extract and malachite stone.
Our Wishful Clean Genie Cleansing Butter review:
AB's Fragrance Buyer and skincare afficionado Liz said this cleansing butter makeup remover is the best she's ever used, so naturally, Amy had to try it out.

My Wishful Eye Lift & Contour 1% Bakuchiol & Peptide Serum review:
Hold onto your dry under eyes, because this is a very jazzy eye product.
I first looked at this eye serum and thought, “another day, another eye serum”.
But what I didn’t expect was how a little of this goes a long way around the eyes.
Here’s what it looks like applied on just one eye.
When I applied this one night before bed, the next morning, I could still feel some of the product under my eyes, so it felt like they had been nourished all night long.
I can't speak to the long-term results, but what I can confirm is the cooling applicator feels really good on my dry under eyes.
Perfect for prepping and hydrating the skin before applying concealer.
