I bought this hair spray for my fine but thick 3a/b curly hair. I was hoping to boost hold without weighing my hair down. I used it a couple of times and it did add hold and it is lightweight. But it made my hair dry and very frizzy which majorly reduced curl definition which I didn't like. Also, I had to return it as the spray nozzle stopped working after a few applications.lighter than gel for forming a cast
I use this instead of a gel if I want really defined curls - I use my usual curl cream and get everything how I like it, then spray lightly all over with this before diffusing. it's worked better with my fine hair than the gels which tend to be too heavy for me.not too sure
verified purchaserat first I didn't notice a different when using it aside from my hair actually being a bit crunchy and sticky. its not a product I normally go for but I tried it out anyway. I feel like it's better to used the damage control spray as its more protective and doesn't have alcohol so high up on its ingredients listLOVE this product!

By day 3 I just brush it out, spray with water and reapply this product and I'm good to go! Loving the longevity I can get out of my hair by using Aveda products!Not a fan
I love Aveda and have used it forever however I'm not a fan of this product on my curly hair. Its a bit crunchy and makes my curls hard. I prefer the curl lotion.Aveda can do no wrong.

I have a lot of long loose curls which I like to enhance with the Aveda curly lotions, which I find work really well for me. I’m not sold on this spritz, I find it leaves me hair a bit crunchy and makes it go limp/ a bit dirty faster. Good shine at first though, and nice smell.Great for second day curls
